Is this just going to be a program of me lying on the ground and doing breathing exercises?

No. We integrate mobility and strength training together. If training hurts, we’ll start with a more scaled-back plan, but we also make sure you stay as active as possible. We’ll also outline a clear progression back to higher-level fitness activities.

Don’t I need perfect mobility before I work out?

No! Those who only focus on mobility often struggle to maintain their progress. Strength training helps lock in those gains. That doesn’t mean we’ll have you maxing out your back squat right away, though. We meet you where you are so you don’t get knocked back down.

I’m in too much pain or too tight to train. Can I still do this?

If mobility drills haven’t worked and you’re medically cleared, you may need a different approach. That’s why our strength work often looks different from what you’d see in a typical gym. We combine strength training and mobility to help you make real progress. Don’t worry, we don’t throw you into bench press and back squats day one. We choose the safest and most effective training exercises for you. Moves that build strength, improve movement, and minimizes flare-ups.

How long until I see results?

Many clients see noticeable mobility improvements in the first session. Strength and movement quality often improve within 2-3 weeks. Bigger goals or long-term issues may take longer, but consistency leads to progress.

Do I need gym access?

No! We can design a program for home or the gym. We work with what you have.

How often do I get a new program? How many different workouts in a program?

We update programs every six weeks, but it depends on your needs. Some clients run programs longer, while others see adjustments within three weeks. The number of workouts depends on your availability, goals, and preferences.

What do we talk about during calls?

Calls focus on whatever you need the most. That includes mobility reassessments, refining technique, discussing nutrition and behavior goals, etc.

What’s the difference between Zac and the other coaches?

What will I need for the first call?

The big keys are: (1) Wear athletic clothes, (2) Use a laptop or adjustable stand for your phone, (3) Have an open space for you to lie down, and (4) List any equipment you have in the intake form.

What time zone are the calls in?

We operate on Pacific Time (GMT-7). Our scheduler converts the times for you. If you’re still unsure, we see people from 0800 to 1700 (5pm) Pacific time. If you see times outside of that, it’s probably your time zone.

Can I get an appointment sooner?

Our spots fill up fast. If no immediate slots are available, book the earliest one and tell us to add you to our waitlist. That way, we can move your appointment sooner if something opens up.
